Day 0: Pre-party
Before we dive in, we sort out expectations, time zone differences, and get excited for the journey ahead. This is where you meet your fellow authors and set yourself up for success.
Day 1: Dictating on Your Phone
Your phone may be the most powerful dictation tool you own. On Day 1, we explore how to use your phone to start speaking your fiction.
Day 2: Dictating on Your Computer
Mac or Windows, there are built-in options to dictate your fiction inside your favorite writing software. On Day 2, we dig into your computer and find the setup that works best for you.
Day 3: Record and Transcribe
On Day 3, we cover the record-and-transcribe method — a flexible approach that gives you even more freedom in when and where you write.
Bonus Day: Live-Only Masterclass!
On the final day, you'll see how everything you've learned fits together into something much bigger. This is where the tools you've chosen become the foundation for a complete dictation practice built around your fiction writing career.

How important is it to attend live?
Not a requirement at all. Because of time zones and life commitments, plenty of authors participate by watching the replays. Authors join us from all over the world!
What time will the live sessions take place?
Sessions take place at 10AM CDT. Check a world clock converter to find your local time.
What if I've tried dictation before and it didn't stick?
This bootcamp was built for you. Many of the authors who join have tried and quit before. The combination of live training, daily assignments, and community accountability makes all the difference.
Will you be recording the Zooms so I can watch the lessons later?
Yes! Replays will be sent out as soon as they are uploaded, and you'll have access to them for 7 days after the bootcamp ends.

Absolutely. This bootcamp is designed specifically for fiction authors who don't consider themselves techy. If you can use a smartphone or open a document on your computer, you can follow along.
